Identify Your Learning Goals or Objectives

DEFINITION: A goal or objective consists of a projected state of affairs which you plans or intends to achieve or bring about — a personal or organizational desired end-point in your development.

Step 1: Identify each competency (see below) to be achieved at the end of the training.

Step 2: For each competency that you identify, document what you hope to achieve at the end of the training by using the objective Cues (see below) to complete the following sentence.

 "At the end of this training I will be able to [Objective Cue]...........
